At first glance, it is not easy to determine that this scale from Taylor is a body fat scale�. The body fat �electrodes� are invisible on the glass platform, giving a clean, clear look to the scale. The platform is larger than most to accommodate most foot sizes, yet still allows for a clear view of the readout. Yet, this is an accurate body fat scale as well � it measures body fat and body water to the precise 0.1%, and operates in normal or athlete mode (athlete mode is for highly fit individuals, exercising more than 10 hours per week). 10 memories store the personal set up data. Two lines of data (weight and body measurements) display together on the two line 1.6� readout. The tempered glass platform is 8mm thick and feels stable. Plus, this scale is accurate up to 440 lbs and reads to the 0.2 lb increment. Runs on lithium batteries, which are included.
